The reason why you’re probably on this page is because you have no more motivation or you’re looking for some motivation to start something? Or you’r just interested in motivational techniques? You’re at the right spot.
First of all, what is motivation actually?
- A reason (or reasons) for acting or behaving in a particular way
- Desire or willingness to do something; enthusiasm
Motivation comes in to being because of internal and external factors that stimulate desire and energy in people to be continually interested and committed to a job, role or subject, or to make an effort to attain a goal. Motivation results from the interaction of both conscious and unconscious factors such as the intensity of desire or need, incentive or reward value of the goal, and expectations of the individual and of his or her peers.
These factors are the reasons one has for behaving a certain way. An example is a student that spends extra time studying for a test because he or she wants a better grade in the class.
Let me put it in a way that is very easy to understand:
Motivation is like putting gas in your car, If there is no motivation, you wont go. You might move slowly forward by pushing your car. But that’s a lot of energy for small progress, which isn’t bad. But it’s not a good way to utilize your time. That’s why it isn’t such a bad idea to look for ways to jack up your motivation.
